XPIENT Solutions appoints Flavio Diomede as Chief Technology Officer

Charlotte, NC; December 3, 2007 ~ Christopher Sebes, Chief Executive Officer of XPIENT Solutions, LLC, a leading technology solutions provider to the quick service, fast casual and family dining restaurant segments, today announced the appointment of Flavio Diomede to the position of Chief Technology Officer. “Flavio brings to XPIENT more that 20 years of experience in Information Technology with a proven record of creating and deploying solutions for such significant clients as McDonald’s, Freddie Mac, DuPont, Carlyle Group and Interpublic Companies” Sebes said. “His knowledge of restaurant operations, software development and his experience with large-scale project management will provide the technical leadership and vision needed to help XPIENT maintain our industry leadership position. Flavio’s addition secures the foundation of our strategy for sustaining innovative development and long-term growth. He is a welcomed addition to our senior management team,” Sebes added.    

Diomede joins XPIENT from TOREX Hospitality, where he was Program Director and VP of Software Development. In this role he led McDonald’s Next Generation POS project, including the setup of a worldwide network of regional development centers to support system deployment and enhancements. Diomede is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery, author of many papers on technology and a featured speaker at IT and industry conferences.
