XPIENT Solutions Selected by Arby's, LLC

Charlotte, NC (August 16, 2004) ~ XPIENT Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of Point-of-Sale (POS) technology has announced that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Arby's, LLC which will result in a "long-term" relationship between the two companies to provide POS solutions for the Arby's® brand.

Centered on XPIENT's IRIS (Intelligent Restaurant Information System) Point-of-Sale application the solution also includes credit and stored value card transaction engines. XBMS (Exception Based Monitoring) for real-time event monitoring, EDM (Enterprise Data Manager) for centralized data management and eSign (patent pending) for digital signage.

The project plan calls for the XPIENT solution to be rolled out of all of the Arby's restaurants owned by Triarc Companies, Inc., (currently 236) by the fourth quarter of this year. The terms of the agreement allow both companies to jointly promote the xpient solution to the Arby's, LLC franchise community.
