Carl's Jr. Licensee Installs POS Solution From NCR and xpient

Mexico’s ICR upgrades point-of-sale solution in popular restaurant chain

ATLANTA ~ Industrializadora de Comida Rapida, S.A. de C.V. (ICR), a Mexico-based licensee of popular, family-friendly Carl’s Jr. restaurants, has selected NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) and XPIENT Solutions for a point-of-sale (POS) solution being rolled out to 11 restaurants in Baja California, Mexico.
 
NCR RealPartner POS Technical Services, Inc., is responsible for the sale, installation and maintenance of the solution, which includes NCR RealPOS™ 70 terminals and customer displays and xpient’s Integrated Restaurant Intelligence System (IRIS) POS software.
 
ICR restaurants offer a family-focused environment where service is paramount. Unlike typical quick-service restaurants, the staff of ICR’s Carl’s Jr. often takes desert orders and refills drinks from the dining room, enhancing customer satisfaction.

The NCR RealPOS 70 allows for components to be swapped easily and offers a stable POS platform that is easy to upgrade and service. The open architectural design allows an integrated multimedia customer display to be used for promotional and check-out information, improving productivity while enhancing the customer experience.
 
XPIENT’s IRIS POS software includes cash management, time and attendance, HR/payroll, optional credit/debit card functionality, order/price confirmation board and kitchen display system integration. Easy-to-learn and -use touchscreen technology speeds employee training and performance, as well as order accuracy and speed of service.
